Throw volume at your growth problems.

Whether you’re a 6- or 7-figure entrepreneur looking to double or triple your business… or a beginner seeking your first or next client…

Many business problems can be solved with more VOLUME.

• Need more clients? Simply send more cold outreaches.

• Need to sell more memberships? Simply drive more traffic to your sales page.

• Need more followers? Simply engage with other accounts more often, and/or publish more content.

The specific tactics depend on your strategy. And of course, this premise assumes that your conversion rate is NOT zero.

(If your conversion rate is zero, then traffic is NOT your top priority… rather, your core focus should be figuring out why people aren’t taking the action you’re asking them to take.)

See, the beauty of solving problems with volume is that it makes goal-setting and forecasting easy.

Just do this:

  1. Identify a concrete growth goal (e.g., you want 14 new mastermind clients).
  2. Determine your HISTORICAL conversion rate for that metric (e.g., 0.5% of people who hit your website become mastermind clients, on average).
  3. Use the data from Step 2 to calculate a specific VOLUME target to enable your goal from Step 1 to become a reality (e.g., if 0.5% of website visitors convert into clients, then you need 2,800 website visits to yield 14 clients … because 0.5% of 2,800 = 14 clients).

So, if you want 14 new mastermind clients, then you simply need to drive 2,800 incremental clicks to your website—assuming everything else is equal.

If your strategy is running paid traffic? Then you might need to increase budgets or tweak ad creatives to boost click-through rates. If your strategy is cold outreach? Then you might need to send more volume or tweak subject lines to effectively increase readership. If your strategy is Twitter/X, then perhaps you need to plug your website more prominently and/or publish more high-quality long tweets.

I’ll leave you with this thought experiment:

  1. What’s a big business goal of yours for Q4?
  2. Based on your company’s unique historical data, what volume targets must you hit to make sure that goal becomes a reality? (And what can YOU control to achieve those targets?)

Hope this helps! I did this exercise for my own business this morning and got a lot of clarity from it.
