How to make info-products feel more tangible

I’m about to share some secret sauce with you.

If you struggle to describe the benefits of your info-product in a way that feels valuable…

Then here’s a tip to make your abstract offer more concrete:

Include specific page number or timestamp “references” in your copy. Let me explain.

Suppose you’re typing up bullets to promote a book.

Instead of saying…

“You will learn about XYZ.”

Try saying…

“You will learn about XYZ (page 9).”

Or suppose you’re promoting a video training inside your membership community.

Instead of saying…

“In this video, you’ll discover the biggest myth about being a creator.”

Try saying…

“In this video – at 3:37 – you’ll discover the biggest myth about being a creator.”

See how that small tweak brings the perceived value to life? It makes the info feel more compelling and dramatic. It increases curiosity.

I learned this technique from Gary Halbert. Apply it to your copy and I bet you’ll see more responses.
